Pediatric Critical Care of South Florida (PCCSF) recently received an Honorable Mention from the 2013 Family-Centered Care Innovation Award for their work at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
The award, bestowed by the Society of Critical Care Medicine, honors excellence among pediatric and adult intensive care units in over 100 countries. Recipients must demonstrate novel, effective methods of providing care and comprehensive services to critically ill and injured patients, their families, and their loved ones.
